The Earth is in crisis, and Master Hsin Tao is determined to build a university for our Mother Earth.

Why should University for Life and Peace (ULP) be created?
  1. To address the need for peace, sustainability, and resilience of humanity and the environment.
  2. Current educational and research processes do not address the need with a comprehensive solution.
  3. To provide a global resource for providing people with the skills, knowledge, and tools to address the need through holistic, multi-disciplinary, integrated programs that develop persons and resources to deliver practical solutions.

What will be done?

ULP will deliver programs and provide an environment that fosters the creation of practical solutions for: peace, sustainability, and resilience

  1. Academic programs (degree and non-degree)
  2. Research to deliver practical solutions
  3. Outreach activities to the surrounding community, the region, and the world
  4. An environment (living, studying, working) in which ULP’s values are practiced.

What skills and knowledge will be  developed? The ability to:

  1. Conceptualize problems and their solutions for communities and individual facilities considering the design’s impact on man- kind, ecology, and the environment.
  2. Design solutions through a holistic approach: multi-disciplinary and integrated.
  3. Implement solutions.

ULP Mission statement
