2022 UN Interfaith Harmony Week

This year’s "Interfaith Harmony Week" coincides with Chinese New Year, so to celebrate these two holidays, the Museum of World Religion’s Development Foundation has launched 2 short films. These films combine the spirit of inter-religious harmony with a holiday atmosphere of family, home, and comfort to welcome the 2022 Year of the Tiger amidst the mutant Omicron epidemic. You can follow the recipes of Chef Chen Hong and others to make delicious New Year dishes, making great meals for you and your family to enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/user/mwr1109

The first video, "Seeing the Light of Faith in the Darkness", invites believers from different religious traditions to share their various beliefs. Another video, "Faith on the Table", features 4 believers of different faiths, following them as they each make a different New Year's dish, explain the meaning of the dish, and lastly, share the close relationship between food, life, and faith. This New Year starts with "eating" to love one’s body while also loving the earth.
